HRD Corp Claimable Training Courses in Malaysia
The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) is administered by Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB), an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources, via the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad Act, 2001 and was setup in 1993 to provide specialised training grants as an incentive for employers to retrain and upgrade workers’ skills, in line with the needs of their business requirement.
An additional aim was to develop quality human capital and a world-class workforce in order to achieve a high income economy based on knowledge and innovation.
Under the scheme, employers are to identify their workers’ training needs and obliged to pay fully the training programme. Following prior approval obtained from HRDF, a reimbursement of allowable training costs is made, based on the rate of financial assistance as determined by HRDF.
As the objective of this scheme is to encourage employers to retrain and upgrade their employees' skills in line with their operational and business requirements, Charles Mann training courses are sure to enhance the abilities of Malaysian businesses in terms of utilising and implementing online platforms and digital technology to develop and grow.
The HRDF application and claiming procedures are all dealt with through the eTRiS system online. For further details on HRDF, please visit the official website.
